National Health Authority (NHA) is the apex body responsible for implementing Indias flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme called Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana & has been entrusted with the role of designing strategy, building technological infrastructure and

implementation of National Digital Health Mission to create a National Digital Health Eco-system. National Health Authority is the successor of the National Health Agency, which was functioning as a registered society since 23rd May, 2018.NHA is governed by a Governing Board chaired by the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare.

Role & responsibilities
- Undertake rapid studies to support HBP decisions for technologies, drugs, diagnostics and healthcare interventions. Undertake data analysis for pricing decisions.




- Coordinate with the states and districts for the collection and analysis of relevant data.
- Evaluation of the appropriate standard treatment procedure which provide value for money

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: Graduation in MBBS/BDS/Statistics/Economics and a Postgraduation as

Masters in Public Health/MBA in health management

Desirable qualification PhD in public health/Health Economics

Experience: 2 to 3 years of work experience:- Computer proficiency related to MS word, Excel, Power point. Positive communication and writing skills. Willingness to travel to states or districts to collect technical information
