Role & responsibilities :-

Taxation Manager

Job Purpose:
To manage the organisations overall taxation function, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax laws, effective tax planning, assessments, audits, litigation management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Direct Tax compliance including Income Tax Returns, TDS/TCS, advance tax, tax audits and related filings.
- Handle Indirect Tax compliance including GST returns, reconciliations, assessments, audits and notices.
- Review and ensure timely filing of GST, TDS and Income Tax returns across entities.
- Manage GST reconciliations including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and books.
- Handle Income Tax assessments, GST assessments, departmental notices and litigation.
- Manage TDS compliances, including quarterly returns, corrections and reconciliation with TRACES.
- Handle withholding tax on domestic and international transactions, including DTAA-related matters.
- Review Form 15CA/15CB, tax deduction requirements and cross-border transactions.




- Coordinate Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing, SFT and other statutory tax compliances.
- Support preparation and filing of ITR, TAR, TP documentation, Master File and other tax reports.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Identify tax risks and recommend corrective measures to minimise tax exposure and interest/penalties.
- Monitor changes in Income Tax, GST and other applicable tax regulations and assess their business impact.
- Coordinate with Big 4/tax consultants, auditors, legal advisors and tax authorities.
- Support tax provisions, deferred tax and other taxation-related matters for financial reporting.
- Provide taxation inputs for business transactions, contracts, investments, restructuring and recent projects.
- Lead and mentor the taxation team and ensure strong tax governance and documentation.
