Job Title: Academic Counsellor (EdTech Sales)

Location: Mumbai

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday
Shift Timing: 10:30 AM 7:30 PM

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and result-driven Academic Counsellors with prior EdTech sales experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and a solid track record of converting leads into enrollments through consultative sales over calls.

This is a target-driven role where the candidate will be responsible for handling prospective learners, understanding their career aspirations, addressing objections, and closing enrollments over the phone.

Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective learners through inbound and outbound calls.
- Understand learner requirements and recommend suitable educational programs.
- Handle the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to enrollment.
- Convert leads into enrollments through effective counseling and consultative selling.
- Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.




- Follow up with interested prospects and nurture them through the decision-making process.
- Handle objections confidently and drive closures over calls.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth learner onboarding experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and counseling support.

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of EdTech sales/counselling experience.
- Experience in closing leads over phone calls is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales aptitude, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving enrollment or revenue targets.
- Comfortable working in a target-oriented environment.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office.
