Power Electronics Design Engineer

Position: Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Power Electronics Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in power electronics design and development, preferably for defense/MIL-STD applications. This role involves
working closely with clients, understanding requirements, designing power systems (AC-DC, DC-DC), and driving projects from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities
-End-to-end design and development of power electronics systems, including:
- AC-DC & DC-DC power supplies ,Transformer and magnetics design
System architecture & schematic capture
-BOM creation & optimization
- PCB layout review & Gerber release
- Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC compliance and relevant MIL standards
(preferable).
- Perform Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and thermal analysis during design stages.




-Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and design for testability (DFT) reviews.
-Execute prototype testing, validation, and troubleshooting of power electronics hardware.
-Work on technical documentation, including design history, test reports, and validation records.
- Collaborate with vendors for component selection, sourcing, and technical clarifications.
- Participate in client interactions, including requirement gathering, technical discussions, and project reviews.
-Strong knowledge of Power Electronics (AC-DC, DC-DC, Magnetics, Power Converters).
-Hands-on experience in schematic and PCB design using OrCAD / Altium Designer (preferable).
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design practices and regulatory compliance.
Understanding of thermal management, SI/PI principles, and reliability
considerations.
Familiarity with transformer/magnetics design and optimization.
