Role & responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the event management industry.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Identify and target recent clients (corporate, private, etc.) for various types of events such as conferences, product launches, and corporate events.
- Prepare and pitch proposals to potential clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and company capabilities.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the lifecycle of the event, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work with clients to understand their event requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Assist in achieving sales targets and business development goals.
- Support the Business Development Manager in creating and executing sales strategies.
- Monitor and track sales performance,



identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the operations, and event management teams to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to manage event logistics and requirements.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, ensuring all client expectations are met.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and business development activities in the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on business development progress, sales metrics, and client feedback.
- Market Representation:
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent the company and build brand awareness.
- Keep up to date with the latest event management trends and best practices.
