Job Title: Purchase Manager

Department: Procurement/Purchasing

Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Source high-quality materials, products, and services from reliable vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production departments to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Track supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and legal procurement requirements.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, quality concerns, and supplier disputes.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and procurement reports.




- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and timely vendor payments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1018 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (depending on the organization).
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
