Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Accountant / Accountant – Fresher who has a strong foundation in accounting and is eager to build practical experience in a fast-paced business environment. The candidate will support day-to-day accounting activities, documentation, reconciliations, invoicing, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare and process sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts, and payment entries.
- Assist in maintaining vendor and customer ledgers.
- Support bank reconciliation and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain proper records of expenses, bills, invoices, and payment documents.
- Assist with GST and TDS-related data preparation and documentation.
- Support the finance team in monthly accounting closure and reporting.
- Assist in preparing basic MIS and financial reports.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for invoices, payments, and documentation.
- Maintain organized financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Work on accounting software such as Zoho Books and maintain accurate data.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
Eligibility
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA – Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a strong understanding of accounting principles are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and bank reconciliation.
- Basic to good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Zoho Books is preferr
