Role Overview
As our digital footprint continues to grow across eCommerce and Quick-Commerce platforms, we're looking for a detail-oriented eCommerce Finance Executive. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our core Finance department and the Marketplace operations team — navigating digital seller portals, extracting essential financial data, and ensuring that all platform reconciliations and invoices are accurately tracked and processed.
Key Responsibilities
Data Extraction & Reporting
Independently navigate backend seller portals (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto and similar) to extract daily and weekly financial data, payout reports, and necessary tax documentation.
Payment Reconciliation
Conduct regular reconciliations of marketplace settlement reports against internal order systems and verified bank receipts to ensure revenue accuracy.
Dispute Management
Identify operational discrepancies — incorrect commission deductions, logistical penalties, or missing inventory — and flag them to the marketplace team for timely dispute resolution.
Invoicing & Compliance Support
Assist the core finance team by verifying platform commission invoices, tracking credit notes, and organising accurate data for month-end accounting and tax filings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the financial point of contact for the marketplace team — clarifying payment statuses and providing basic financial tracking for promotional activities and platform advertising spends.
Qualifications & Skills
Must Have
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, commerce, or eCommerce operations
- Hands-on familiarity with backend interfaces of major eCommerce and Quick-Commerce seller portals
- Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables for managing large datasets
- Foundational understanding of payment reconciliation and digital invoicing processes
- High attention to detail
