Role Overview

Servayam is looking for an experienced and creative freelance video editor who understands storytelling and can transform scripts, voiceovers and raw assets into engaging long-form explainer videos.

The ideal candidate should know how to maintain viewer attention through pacing, motion graphics, visual variety, sound design and seamless transitions.

Responsibilities
- Edit 8–10-minute long-form explainer videos
- Turn scripts and voiceovers into visually engaging stories
- Combine footage, images, graphics, typography and animated elements
- Create motion graphics and explanatory visual sequences
- Maintain strong pacing and viewer retention throughout each video
- Add suitable music, sound effects and basic audio enhancements
- Follow storyboards, references and creative direction
- Apply feedback and complete revisions within agreed timelines

Requirements




- Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Robust motion graphics skills
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing and audience retention
- Experience editing explainers, documentaries or educational content
- Ability to simplify complex information through visuals
- Reliable communication and timely delivery
