Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be

more than 3-5) We are looking for candidates with hands-on RF and SW programing experience and preferable from Tier1 universities (e.g. IISC, IITs, NITs, etc) in India if they have fairly low work experience. Background: The Engineers will work with Customer System RF team members very closely on developing and optimizing RF automation test systems used on Customer products, and will work closely with the contract manufacturer along with RF teams at Apple to drive design validation, automation, data analysis and related activities that help achieve manufacturing goals with highest quality. • Good fundamentals or relevant experience in C/C++, or a similar programming language.



• Experience or understanding of Cellular standards (e.g. LTE, 5G) • Good knowledge of RF fundamentals and communications theory. • Valuable understanding and working experience with RF metrics and impairment around conducted and antenna measurements (e.g. EVM, ACLR, VSWR, S-Parameters, TRP, etc.) • Basic knowledge of RF/Wireless lab equipment. • Familiarity with data processing and statistical tools.

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 • Develop algorithms and scalable software in C/C++ and Python to control the device under test (DUT) and test equipment.

2 Validation and optimization of RF system level performance.

3 Analyze data in conjunction with cross functional teams to identify and root cause RF issues.

4 Triage issues, and perform log analysis, and provide recommendation for issues resolution
