Thulir Designer Boutique – Coimbatore

We are looking for a Stitching Unit Manager to takes responsibility for the day-to-day work of our stitching unit.

The main job is to make sure that every customer order is properly communicated to the masters, completed correctly, and delivered on time.

Responsibilities
- Manage the daily work of the stitching unit.
- Give the masters the correct instructions for each order.
- Explain measurements, designs and other requirements clearly.
- Assign work to the right master based on their workload and skills.
- Follow up with masters regularly to check the progress of each order.
- Keep track of pending, ongoing and completed orders.
- Make sure urgent orders are completed on time.
- Check the stitching and finishing before sending the order to the next stage.
- Coordinate alterations and corrections with the masters.
- Identify delays or problems and find solutions quickly.
- Make sure no customer order is missed or forgotten.
- Coordinate with the designers and customer-handling team whenever required.




- Maintain discipline and proper workflow inside the stitching unit.

Important

This is not a customer service or sales job.

The person will mainly focus on production and stitching operations.

Once an order is confirmed, your responsibility is to make sure:

Order → Measurements & Design Details → Master → Stitching → Quality Check → Alteration → Final Completion

Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a tailoring unit, boutique or garment production is preferred.
- Good knowledge of stitching and garment construction.
- Able to understand measurements and design instructions.
- Positive communication in Tamil and basic English.
- Good at managing multiple orders.
- Responsible and organised.
- Should be able to work closely with stitching masters and designers.
- Should have good follow-up and problem-solving skills.

10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
