Join Hitachi Energy as Tax Manager India, responsible for overseeing the company's tax strategy, governance, and compliance across India. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will provide tax guidance on business operations, commercial initiatives, and organizational changes, ensuring tax considerations are effectively embedded in decision-making.

You will lead all areas of taxation (both income tax and GST), including compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, planning, risk management, and disputes, while partnering closely with global tax teams, auditors, external advisors, and tax authorities. How you will make an impact




- Serve as the tax leader for Hitachi Energy India and a strategic business partner to leadership, finance, HR, supply chain, procurement, and project teams. Provide tax advice on business initiatives, cross-border structuring, restructurings, acquisitions, commercial transactions, tendering processes, project execution, and new business models.
- Lead all direct and indirect tax matters, including corporate income tax, GST, customs, withholding taxes, and other applicable taxes. Ensure timely and accurate filings, reporting, and documentation.
- Oversee tax accounting and reporting activities, including quarterly and annual tax provisions, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, disclosures, and audit support. Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.
