PeopleSoft Administrator – Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Minimum
4 years of experience
in PeopleSoft Administration, supporting
PeopleSoft HR, FIN, and ELM
production environments on
PeopleSoft 9.2
.
- Robust experience in
building, configuring, debugging, and supporting PeopleSoft applications
within multi-instance hosting environments.
- Hands-on expertise with
PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA)
, including:
- Tuxedo Application Servers on UNIX
- Process Schedulers on UNIX and Windows/NT
- WebLogic configuration and administration
- Experience working across multiple versions of
PeopleSoft and PeopleTools
, preferably
PeopleTools 8.62
.
- Experience with
PeopleSoft, middleware, and database installation and configuration
.
- Hands-on experience with
PeopleSoft PUM and PeopleTools upgrades
.
- Experience applying
critical patches, PeopleTools patches, Tuxedo patches, and WebLogic patches
.




- Strong understanding of
internally and externally connected PeopleSoft environments
.
- Ability to develop
scripts and monitoring mechanisms
for PeopleSoft Web and Application tiers.
- Experience configuring
Integration Broker (IB)
, including gateway configuration, node creation/configuration, and troubleshooting IB issues.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across
Application Server, Process Scheduler, and Web Server
environments.
- Experience with
OpenSearch installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
.
- Responsible for the
daily administration and maintenance
of Application Servers, Web Servers, and Process Scheduler Servers.
- Ability to provide
production outage and incident support
, including occasional late-night or after-hours support.
- Experience with
SMTP configuration and administration
within PeopleSoft environments.
- Ability to
monitor, analyze, tune, and optimize PeopleSoft system performance
