Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging IB MYP and DP English lessons aligned with IB curriculum and learning objectives.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching resources, assignments, and assessments.
- Prepare students for IB MYP and DP assessments and examinations.
- Support students with writing, critical thinking, literary analysis, communication, and research skills.
- Guide students in Internal Assessment (IA) and other IB-related academic requirements, where applicable.
- Encourage inquiry-based, student-centred, and collaborative learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and assessment reports.
- Participate in parent meetings, department meetings, school events, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to support students' overall development.





Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
- 25+ years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB or international school.
- Experience teaching IB MYP and/or DP English is preferred.
- IB MYP/DP training or certification will be an added advantage.
- Robust knowledge of English language, literature, academic writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use technology and digital learning tools effectively.
- Passion for inquiry-based and student-centred learning.
