Mechanical Turner – Cable & Conductor Manufacturing Plant

Key Responsibilities
- Machining & Fabrication
- Operate lathe machines, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts for cable extrusion, stranding, and wire drawing equipment.
- Manufacture and repair shafts, rollers, pulleys, and spindles used in conductor processing.
- Maintenance Support
- Assist mechanical fitters in replacing worn-out machine components by fabricating new parts.
- Ensure proper alignment and fitting of machined components in production lines.
- Quality Control
- Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Follow engineering drawings and tolerances strictly to ensure high-quality output.
- Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to plant safety standards while operating heavy machinery.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the machine shop.
- Documentation
- Record machining activities,



part specifications, and maintenance logs for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in lathe operation, turning, threading, boring, and facing.
- Knowledge of materials used in cable manufacturing (aluminium, copper, steel).
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Education
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Turner Trade.
- Soft Skills
- Precision-oriented, detail-focused, and safety-conscious.
- Team collaboration with fitters, electricians, and production staff.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
