Job Summary

At AVEVA, we are looking for a talented developer with the skills and passion to successfully implement complex technical solution to join our PI Visualization team.

Key responsibilities
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Deliver production-quality software with guidanceaccurate estimates, on-time delivery, and alignment to AVEVA standards.
- Design, implement, test, and debug features across UI and API layers; learn new areas of the codebase as needed.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases with appropriate code reviews, unit tests, and documentation.
- Follow established engineering practices: team processes, coding standards, branching strategy, and definition of done.
- Apply secure engineering basics: understand security requirements, implement secure solutions, and validate via testing aligned to industry best practices.

Essential requirements
- Bachelors/masters in computer science/engineering (or equivalent practical experience).




- 2-4 years of software development experience with hands-on coding in C#/.NET and JavaScript/UI.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, core design patterns, and clean code principles.
- Experience building/consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with unit testing (and exposure to UI testing), with a quality-first mindset.
- Ability to writeclean, maintainable, well-architected, and well-testedcode.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging skills, and eagerness to learn.
- Good communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Desired skills and competencies
- Experience with up-to-date UI frameworks (Angular and/or React) and delivering user-facing features end-to-end.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and engineering hygiene (build quality, basic release awareness).
- Familiarity with secure coding basics (input validation, dependency hygiene) and eagerness to learn security best practices.
