R&D; & Production Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented R&D; & Production Manager to manage food production operations, product development, quality standards, and process improvement at our Krishnagiri plant.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in food production, R&D;, and quality management, along with an educational background in Hotel Management or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day food production operations at the plant.
- Plan production schedules and ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Develop and improve food products, recipes, and production processes.
- Conduct R&D; for new products and product enhancement.
- Ensure consistency in product taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation.
- Monitor raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Implement and maintain food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.




- Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure availability of raw materials.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Reduce production wastage and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain production, quality, and R&D; documentation and records.
- Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and quality requirements.
- Work closely with management to achieve production, quality, cost, and product-development objectives.

Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Relevant experience in Food Production, R&D;, Quality Control/Quality Management.
- Robust practical knowledge of food production processes and kitchen/food manufacturing operations.
- Candidates with experience in food product development and recipe standardization will be preferred.
