Role & responsibilities :
- Managing transactions related to cash from each retail store.
- Collecting cash from all the stores and submitting it to the bank.
- Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate.
- Collecting payments, whether in cash or credit.
- Monitoring key performance indicators and achieving continual improvement in average transaction values and customer count.
- Controlling stock density, rotation, pilferage, and leakage.
- Managing and resolving complex operational issues that arise across multiple stores.
- Cross-selling products and introducing current ones.
- Resolving customer complaints, guiding them, and providing relevant information.
- Maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas.
- Tracking transactions on balance sheets and reporting any discrepancies.
