NPD Manager

Job Description

Work experience:10+ Aerospace experience.
- Lead end-to-end execution of current product development projects from PO receipt to production handover.
- Handle NPD team Project, Quality & Design.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Design, QA, SCM, PPC, Production) to ensure timely project milestones.
- Conduct PO contract review with Internal CFT and Customer.
- Develop project tracker, risk registers, and mitigation plans.
- Drive customer communication for technical queries, status updates, and approvals.
- Review and flow down engineering drawings, specifications, special process requirements, assembly requirements and customer standards.
- Hands-on experience with GD&T.;
- Ensure correct selection and usage of measuring instruments (CMM, VMS, height gauge,



callipers, micrometres, roughness tester, plug gauges, thread gauges, etc).
- Review and approve measurement programs for CMM/VMS and verify measurement accuracy.
- Hands-on experience with APQP/PPAP/FAI submissions and customer validations.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, AS13100, Nadcap, customer-specific requirements).
- Conduct internal project review meetings and maintain progress dashboards; escalate risks proactively.
- Support smooth transition from development to production with clear handover and lessons learned from the development.
