Role Overview

We are looking for a State Business Development Manager with strong experience in the elevator/lift industry to drive business development and B2B sales within the assigned state. The candidate will be responsible for identifying current elevator projects, generating inquiries, converting projects into orders, and achieving state-level revenue and order-booking targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive B2B business development and sales for elevators/lifts across the assigned state.
- Generate new project enquiries and maintain a healthy sales/project pipeline.
- Handle the complete sales cycle from lead generation, project identification, enquiry, quotation, and negotiation to order closure.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and technical-commercial discussions with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the Estimation, Engineering, and Projects teams to prepare suitable commercial and technical proposals.




- Negotiate with customers and ensure order closure within approved commercial parameters.
- Develop and maintain key accounts within the assigned state.
- Monitor competitor activities, market pricing, upcoming projects, and customer requirements.
- Ensure regular follow-up on inquiries and improve enquiry-to-order conversion.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and order-booking targets.
- Maintain accurate project pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and business updates.
- Support collection of outstanding payments in coordination with the Finance team.
- Build a strong network of decision-makers and influencers within the state's elevator project ecosystem.

Candidate Profile
- 7 to 12 years of experience exclusively in the elevator/lift industry.
