Job Title: Welder – SPM Machine
Experience: 1–5 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Welder or relevant technical qualification
Location: Chennai

Job Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication work for SPM (Special Purpose Machine) structures and components.
- Carry out ARC / MIG / TIG welding as required.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and welding dimensions.
- Weld machine frames, brackets, supports, fixtures and fabricated components.
- Ensure proper alignment, dimensions and welding quality.
- Operate welding machines, cutting machines and related tools safely.
- Perform grinding, finishing and cleaning of welded components.
- Inspect welded joints for cracks, porosity and other welding defects.
- Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams.




- Follow company quality and safety procedures.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of welding and fabrication.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of SPM machine fabrication is preferred.
- Knowledge of measuring tools.
- Positive teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Strong focus on quality and safety.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in SPM, automation machines, fixtures and jigs fabrication will be preferred.
