Responsible for requirements engineering activities within the scope of the application development lifecycle according to the defined standards and policies. The Requirements Engineer / Business Analyst is responsible for identification, analysis and preparation of explicit and implicit stakeholder requirements and drives the functional support for business applications. The Requirements Engineer / Business Analyst keeps the Requirements Lead informed on the progress, issues and risks.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Identifies, documents, reviews and manages all requirements for projects and maintenance and supports in change requests and contributes to solution component description
- Selects the most appropriate means of representing business requirements Defines the expected functional test outcomes
- Support in UAT testing of the developments.
- Executes application support and collects, classifies, forwards and checks that all requests for support with regards to functional operations
- Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution and escalates unresolved incidents and facilitates recovery
- Ensures all quality criteria for every requirement and evaluates according to importance and/or stability Support the early-stage involvement in project – contribution in project estimations in regard to test area and requirements analysis
- Support to make the existing system BPMS Appian GenAI-ready will be one of the main tasks over the next few years
Key Competencies & Skills required:
Technical:
- IT technical background Appian experience
- Experience in Agile Practices (Scrum, Kanban and Lean methodologies)
- ITIL experience appreciated
- Knowledge of process design
- Test Planning and execution and data management expertise
- Pega or BPM experience
Nice to have:
- Experience in Web Methods
- Knowledge of Insurance domain
- Knowledge of Healthcare domain
- Knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Experience with collaboration tools like J
