Specialists on the team tell the Accenture story through multiple lenses and formats to help the company strengthen and advance its impact and growth in the marketplace. By helping develop content and pitching news stories, the specialist helps advance Marketing + Communications’ goals and serves as stewards of the highest editorial standards.

Position Description

The Media Relations Corporate Communications person helps promote, protect, and defend the Accenture brand in Asia-Pacific, including Japan.

The candidate is a highly motivated media relations professional with impeccable writing skills and a detail-oriented,



proactive team player who possesses exemplary judgment and an ability to turn abstract and complicated issues and information into straightforward and powerful narratives.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with Asia-Pacific team members, client engagement teams and other relevant parties, including clients, as appropriate to shape ideas and narratives that align with Accenture’s strategic messages and themes.
- Develop, write and edit a wide variety of materials, including talking points for interviews, articles and news releases for the region.
- Collaborate with global media leads, industry marketing, client executives and other relevant parties to help develop content and lead timely responses to media requests.
- Manage and develop professional working relationships with key journalists and client peers.
- Interview subject matter experts and others from across services, corporate functions, and global programs to inform messaging and editorial.
- Translate technical language to clear and accessible copy.
