About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Branding Manager to build and grow our food brand in the market.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking our product/brand from low or limited market awareness to a robust, recognizable and trusted food brand.

This is not a purely desk-based marketing role. We are looking for someone who understands the food/FMCG market, consumer behaviour, retail environment and on-ground marketing, and who can turn a brand strategy into actual market execution.

The candidate should be capable of building a food brand from scratch—from understanding the consumer and defining the brand positioning to creating campaigns, packaging communication, retail visibility, product launches and consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Building & Strategy
- Develop the overall branding strategy for food products.
- Define the brand's positioning, target consumer, USP, personality and communication.
- Identify opportunities to differentiate our products from competing food brands.
- Develop short-term and long-term brand-building plans.
- Build solid brand awareness, recall and consumer preference.

2. Consumer & Market Understanding
- Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, food habits and buying behaviour.
- Study competitors, pricing, packaging, product offerings and promotional activities.
- Visit retail outlets, markets, supermarkets and other relevant channels to understand market realities.
- Gather feedback from consumers, retailers, distributors and sales teams.
- Convert market insights into actionable marketing strategies.
