Deputy Manager- Indirect taxation- Andheri Location

We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Indirect Taxation with strong experience in GST litigation, advisory, and compliance.

About the Role

The candidate will be responsible for managing GST assignments, advising clients on complex tax matters, handling assessments/notices, and ensuring timely and accurate compliance.

Responsibilities
- Manage GST compliance, including preparation, review, and filing of periodic GST returns.
- Handle GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C and ensure timely compliance.
- Perform GSTR-2B vs. books reconciliation, ITC reconciliation, and other GST reconciliations.
- Handle GST notices, assessments, departmental audits, appeals, and litigation matters.
- Assist clients with GST advisory on complex transactions, tax positions, and compliance matters.
- Prepare responses to GST notices and departmental queries and coordinate with tax authorities.
- Manage GST refund applications, registrations, amendments, and cancellations.




- Conduct/support GST due diligence and internal tax reviews.
- Identify tax risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.
- Review work prepared by team members and ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
- Guide and mentor junior team members on GST compliance, advisory, and litigation matters.
- Coordinate directly with clients and manage multiple assignments within timelines.

Qualifications
- CA qualification preferred.
- Post CA Qulification 3–5 years of relevant experience in Indirect Taxation/GST.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in GST litigation, advisory, and compliance.
- Good understanding of GST laws, rules, notifications, and procedures.
- Experience in handling GST assessments, notices, audits, and appeals.
- Solid client-handling and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in team handling/review responsibilities will be preferred.
