Role Description

The Generative AI Engineer will design, build, and refine agentic AI systems and workflows that power The Agentic Loop’s products, content, and learning experiences.



Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and prototyping with cutting-edge foundation models, developing tools and agents to automate and augment editorial and educational processes, and integrating APIs and services into robust, production-ready pipelines. The role also involves evaluating model performance, optimizing prompts and architectures, implementing monitoring and safety guardrails, and collaborating closely with content, product, and program leads to translate real user needs into practical AI solutions. This is a full-time remote role, with flexibility to work from any location while participating in an online-first, cooperative environment.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong software engineering skills, including proficiency in Python or a similar language, experience with up-to-date development practices (testing, version control, CI/CD), and comfort working with APIs and microservices.
