1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Prepare manpower plans based on organizational and project requirements.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Head Office and project positions.
- Source and screen candidates through job portals, recruitment agencies, references, and other channels.
- Coordinate interviews, selection, salary negotiations, and joining formalities.
- Ensure timely mobilization of engineers, managers, supervisors, operators, and other site personnel.
- Maintain a database of prospective and existing employees.
2. Site HR & Workforce Management
- Manage HR activities at construction/project sites.
- Coordinate manpower mobilization and demobilization as per project schedules.
- Monitor attendance, absenteeism, leave, overtime, and workforce deployment.
- Maintain proper employee records for project staff and workers.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and other functional heads regarding manpower requirements.
- Address employee and worker grievances at project sites.
- Ensure proper implementation of company HR policies at all project locations.
3. Payroll & Attendance
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with the Accounts/Finance Department.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, deductions, advances, and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure timely salary processing and resolution of payroll-related issues.
- Maintain accurate employee master data and personnel records.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage and monitor compliance relating to EPF, ESIC, Qualified Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with statutory consultants and government authorities wherever required.
- Ensure maintenance of statutory registers, records, notices, and returns.
- Monitor compliance of labour contractors and subcontractors with applicable labour laws.
