Job Summary
Perform corporate tax compliance and accounting functions to ensure the Company meets all federal, state and local tax regulatory requirements. Prepare accounting and financial reports in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Statutory Accounting Principles in compliance with department policies, processes, controls and documentation.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
50% Prepare income, premium,



sales and use and property tax returns based on general instructions, related state regulations and prior year workpapers. Assist in meeting Company’s life/non-life consolidated income tax compliance requirements by preparing small C corporation and partnership returns based on general instructions and prior year workpapers. Preparation includes detailed analysis of the results of operations of the entity and detailed support documentation/schedules which support related tax position if necessary. Prepare analysis of state apportionment factors as necessary.

30% Prepare premium, sales and use and property tax accruals based on general instructions and prior accrual workpapers. Assist in accounting for guarantee assessment for various taxing authorities.

10% Conduct research on promulgated tax issues which can be resolved by accessing related laws and regulations. Prepare analysis and related formal memorandum suppor
