Job Description:

We are hiring a Databricks SME who has strong hands-on expertise in Databricks and modern data engineering practices. This role is ideal for a seasoned data professional who has led large-scale data platform implementations and enjoys working closely with clients as a trusted technical advisor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deliver scalable data engineering solutions on Databricks
- Serve as a resident technical expert, embedded with client teams
- Drive best practices across data pipeline design, performance, and scalability
- Provide hands-on guidance on Spark optimization, distributed computing, and cloud architecture
- Support CI/CD implementation and MLOps adoption for production workloads

Required Skills:




- 7+ years in data engineering, data platforms & analytics; 10+ years overall consulting experience
- Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification (completed, along with required coursework)
- Minimum 6-8+ Databricks project implementations, hands-on
- Working knowledge of 2+ cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP); deep expertise in at least one
- Solid grasp of Spark internals and distributed computing at scale
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for production deployment
- Working knowledge of MLOps practices
- Up-to-date knowledge of Databricks platform features and roadmap
- Strong understanding of performance and scalability optimization techniques
