Job Summary: The Site Reliability Engineer is an individual contributed and a full-stack developer on an Agile team who is primarily responsible for production support with a heavy leaning towards automation of redundant tasks, thereby reducing toil.

Job role and responsibilities:
- Ensure system reliability getting systems back to steady-state as quickly as possible
- Automate wherever possible - reduce toil
- Configure monitoring and logging of systems in order to obtain better visibility
- Help design processes that automatically evaluate system SLA
- Be proactive, identify and remediate issues before SLAs are violated




- Tool-agnostic and approach-centric
- Driving better cross-team collaboration - work with Product development team, DevOps group and Operations Job skills

Requirement:
- Java, Spring Boot
- JavaScript (React JS+/ Angular/ NodeJS)
- Python
- Containers, Kubernetes, Docker
- Application Servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic and WebSphere
- Messaging and Event Streaming Systems
- Expertise in Datadog is must.
- Experience in dealing with monitoring tools such as (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana).

Qualifications for the role include:
- 6+ years progressive software systems programming experience, at least 2 of which should involve experience utilizing Java/JEE technologies.
- 2+ years of Python programming is preferred
- Computer related Bachelors degree is preferred or equivalent work experience in software development
