Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Lead end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
- Review and approve journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
Finance Operations
- Oversee Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, automation, and operational efficiencies across finance functions.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and service delivery metrics to ensure operational excellence.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex financial and operational issues.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Drive performance management, coaching, and capability development initiatives.
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure timely delivery of finance activities.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders and functional teams.
- Present financial results, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders on finance initiatives and reporting requirements.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA (preferred); MBA Finance or M.Com may also be considered.
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Solid experience in Financial Accounting, Reporting, Controllership, Audit, and Compliance.
- Proven experience managing finance teams of 8-15+ members.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, Ind AS, and/or US GAAP.
