Purpose of the Job

To operate Compression Moulding machines for manufacturing oil seals by following approved process parameters, work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements while ensuring production targets, product quality, traceability, and compliance with ISO requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining product quality
- Verify mould condition and machine readiness before starting production
- Report machine abnormalities, defects, and quality issues immediately
- Operate Compression Moulding machines as per approved process parameters, SOPs, Work instruction and production schedule.
- Operate post-curing ovens and ensure correct temperature, loading pattern, and curing cycle
- Receive, identify, store, and handle rubber compounds and semi-finished materials using FIFO and approved handling practices.
- Understand rubber compounds, batch identification, curing characteristics, and handling requirements
- Identify oil seal models, components, product specifications, and customer requirements.




- Identify basic machine and process abnormalities and Perform first-level troubleshooting. Escalate unresolved issues to Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and implement 5S practices in the work area
- Follow all safety procedures, wear PPE, report unsafe conditions, and comply with company safety rules
- Follow the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Quality Procedures, Document Control, and Customer-Specific Requirements

Documents & Reports:
- Maintain accurate hourly production reports, production quantity, downtime, machine utilization, and rejection details
- Prepare and submit the shift-end production report, including production quantity, rejection quantity, machine downtime, pending production, and shift handover details
- Record actual production quantity, rejection quantity, batch number, operator details, shift details, and process status accurately in the Route Card to
