Role & responsibilities

1. Instrumentation Maintenance & Calibration
- Carry out routine inspection, calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
- Maintain and calibrate weigh feeders, belt scales, load cells, gas analyzers, and moisture analyzers.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of all measuring instruments as per standard operating procedures.

2. Control Systems & Automation Support
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems used in cement plant operations.
- Assist in loop checking, commissioning, and modification of control logic during shutdowns or plant upgrades.
- Coordinate with automation engineers for system optimization and fault resolution.

3. Plant Equipment Monitoring
- Support instrumentation related to crusher, raw mill, kiln, preheater, coal mill, cement mill, and packing plant.
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure instruments are functioning correctly to maintain product quality and process stability.

4. Breakdown & Troubleshooting




- Diagnose and rectify instrumentation faults to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis and suggest preventive measures.

5. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules for all instrumentation equipment.
- Maintain records of calibration, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
- Recommend replacement or upgradation of obsolete or faulty instruments.

6. Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Follow plant safety rules, electrical safety standards, and lockouttagout procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, environmental, and statutory requirements related to instrumentation.
- Support emissions monitoring systems and compliance instruments.

7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation including loop diagrams, calibration reports, maintenance logs, and SOPs.
- Prepare daily/weekly repo
