The Floor Coordinator acts as the primary supervisor for a designated floor, ensuring that operational standards are met, patient needs are addressed immediately, and the environment remains qualified and efficient. You will be the "eyes and ears" of the management on the floor.Key Responsibilities
- Patient Rounds: Conduct regular rounds on the assigned floor to interact with patients and relatives, ensuring their stay is comfortable.
- Feedback Management: Proactively collect patient feedback and resolve grievances on the spot to maintain high patient satisfaction scores.
- Doctor Coordination: Coordinate with Visiting Consultants (VCs) and resident doctors regarding their floor visits and patient check-ins.
- Admission & Discharge Oversight: Streamline the flow of patient admissions and ensure the discharge process is timely and hassle-free.
- Floor Hygiene & Maintenance: Supervise housekeeping and facility staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and that all equipment is functional.
- Nursing Station Liaison:



Act as a bridge between the nursing staff and the administrative department for resource requirements.
- Billing Coordination: Work closely with the billing desk to ensure all floor procedures and consumables are accurately documented in the system.
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Liaison with Pharmacy, Radiology, and the Lab for timely delivery of reports and medicines to the floor.
- Crisis Management: Handle any immediate emergencies or conflicts on the floor, escalating to the HOD or Management when necessary.
- Attendance & Grooming: Monitor the attendance, discipline, and grooming standards of all staff (nursing, housekeeping, pantry) on the floor.
- Inventory Management: Track and maintain the stock of non-medical supplies and stationery required for floor operations.
