AVP Platform Engineering

Experience:
- 20-23 year of total experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles in Enterprise level Application Development and Support engagements.
- Proven experience in successfully Developing and implementing Enterprise class applications on a production scale.
- Deep technology know-how on Java technology stack with exposure to recent age architectures (Microservices), latest design patterns, RESTful service development, DevOps etc.
- Technology evangelist with a flair for establishing and improving Software Engineering processes.
- Deep technology know-how on Java technology stack with exposure to new age architectures like that cloud, CI/CD and microservices based applications.
- Driven innovation in product design, delivery and knowledge of core banking will be a good to have.
- Exposure to Secure Software development lifecycle and security best practices.
- Proven expertise in the following process areas:
- SDLC Methodologies (Waterfall/ Agile)
- Estimation techniques
- Project Planning using Microsoft project (MPP)
- Risk Management




- Stakeholder management
- Quantitative project management
- Exposure to CMMi, ITIL and Agile standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Possesses ability to quickly understand the technical and functional aspects of the project to be able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders and guide the team on various aspects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, high integrity, strong work ethic and ability to empathize with the customer.
- Prior experience with IT captives of MNC Banks and IT Product companies focused on Banking sector will be preferred.
