Key Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and welding symbols.
- Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape metal materials according to specifications.
- Perform MIG, TIG, ARC/Stick, and other welding processes as required.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures, frames, pipes, brackets, supports, and equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, cutting machines, grinders, drills, and fabrication equipment safely.
- Check dimensions, alignment, levels, and weld quality during fabrication.
- Prepare surfaces and joints for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and beveling.
- Inspect finished welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete fusion.
- Carry out grinding, finishing, and dressing of welds to meet required standards.
- Follow engineering specifications, quality requirements, and approved welding procedures.
- Maintain welding machines, tools,



and fabrication equipment in positive working condition.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Handle and store materials, gas cylinders, welding consumables, and tools safely.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, fitters, and other trades to complete fabrication work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report material shortages, equipment problems, defects, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Complete fabrication and welding work within required deadlines and quality standards.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
