spare parts auditKey Responsibilities
- Conduct physical stock audits of spare parts at branches.
- Reconcile physical stock with system stock and identify discrepancies.
- Verify inward receipts, purchase entries, stock transfers, issues, returns and adjustments.
- Check proper documentation for all spare parts transactions.
- Identify shortages, excess stock, obsolete and slow-moving parts.
- Verify parts issued to the service department and customers against job cards/invoices.
- Check proper storage, identification and bin location of spare parts.
- Review stock adjustments and ensure proper authorization.
- Prepare branch-wise audit reports and highlight discrepancies.
- Follow up with branch teams for corrective actions and closure of audit observations.
- Monitor inventory controls and suggest measures to reduce stock losses.
- Conduct surprise stock checks whenever required.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Service, Stores and Spare Parts teams during audits.
- Maintain audit records and submit periodic reports to management
