Role & responsibilities
- Build and manage a network of regional PTL transporters, FTL operators and fleet owners.
- Develop PTL connectivity across key cities, industrial clusters and transportation lanes.
- Identify, onboard and negotiate rates with reliable transport partners.
- Source competitive rates and capacity for FTL requirements.
- Maintain transporter, lane, rate and capacity databases.
- Coordinate with customers, warehouses and transporters for smooth transportation execution.
- Support Sales with transportation rates and solutions for new business.
- Identify transportation opportunities within existing Godamwale customers.
- Monitor transporter performance, service quality and SLA adherence.
- Track market rates, costs and margins and support cost optimization.
- Resolve operational issues related to vehicle placement, pickup, delivery and POD.
Preferred candidate profile
- 25 years of experience in transportation, logistics, 3PL or related fields.
- Robust knowledge of PTL transportation, including networks, lanes, rates and operating models.
- Existing relationships with regional PTL transporters and fleet operators preferred.
