Purchase Executive - Construction Company

*Experience: 3-4 Years | Salary: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month | Location: Siliguri Head Office, West Bengal*

Role in short:

Handle procurement of materials, equipment and services for construction projects while ensuring best price, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate and maintain vendor database for cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, and other construction materials
- Purchasing: Raise POs, collect quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize orders as per project requirements
- Coordination: Work with site, planning, and accounts teams for material indent, delivery tracking, and GRN
- Cost Control: Do rate analysis, market surveys, and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Documentation: Maintain purchase records, MIS reports,



and vendor payment follow-ups
- Site Support: Ensure material reaches site on time and resolve any supply issues

Requirements:

Experience: 3-4 years in purchase/procurement for construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing company

Qualification: B.Com / BBA / Diploma in Materials Management preferred

Skills: Strong negotiation, vendor coordination, MS Excel, and ERP knowledge. Knowledge of construction materials is a must

Other: Valuable communication, ability to handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
