Roles & Resposible
- Operate and monitor AFBC / CFBC Boilers, Turbine, and auxiliaries via DCS as per standard operating parameters.
- Maintain secure and safe load operation under varying process conditions.
- Execute boiler and turbine light-up, load changes, and shutdowns (hot/cold).
- Ensure real-time monitoring and control of DCS/PLC systems, alarms, and interlocks.
- Handle emergency situations such as plant blackouts or abnormal equipment behavior.
- Calculate and optimize boiler and turbine efficiency, fuel and steam consumption.
- Maintain boiler water chemistry and manage chemical dosing as per prescribed limits.
- Monitor combustion parameters for optimum fuel-air ratio and emission control.
- Coordinate with CHP and DM Plant for steady fuel and water supply.
- Generate Daily Generation Reports (DGRs) and operational logs for management review.
- Support maintenance and inspection activities as per preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with IBR regulations, safety norms, and environmental standards.
- Maintain effective manpower handling and shift discipline.
