Role Description
The Tender & Estimation Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in Chennai. The individual in this role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing quantity take-offs,



bills of quantities (BOQ), and detailed cost estimates for building and civil engineering projects. Day-to-day activities include analyzing drawings and specifications, conducting market research on materials and labor rates, coordinating with project, design, and procurement teams, and preparing tender documents and bid proposals. The role involves evaluating vendor quotations, supporting negotiations, and ensuring that estimates align with technical requirements, company standards, and client expectations. The Tender & Estimation Engineer will also contribute to value engineering, risk assessment, and post-tender clarification, while maintaining accurate records and reports for management review.
