Job Description – 3D Modeling & Texturing Artist
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and creative 3D Modeling & Texturing Artist with 2+ years of experience in creating high-quality 3D assets for both CGI and real-time (GLB/Game/Web) workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in 3D modeling, PBR texturing, UV mapping, and asset optimization while maintaining production-quality standards and meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-poly, production-quality 3D models for CGI workflows.
Develop optimized low-poly models suitable for GLB, Web, AR/VR, and real-time applications.
Create high-quality PBR textures using industry-standard workflows.
Perform UV unwrapping and optimize UV layouts for efficient texture usage.
Develop realistic materials using Albedo, Roughness, Metallic, Normal, AO, Opacity, and other required texture maps.
Ensure texture consistency, proper texel density, and material accuracy across assets.
Optimize models and textures for performance without compromising visual quality.
Understand client requirements and follow project-specific modeling and texturing guidelines.
Maintain clean topology and production-ready asset standards.
Collaborate with other artists and project leads to ensure timely delivery.
Contribute ideas to improve production workflows and asset quality.
Stay updated with the latest AI-powered 3D tools and automation workflows to improve productivity.
Independently handle assigned tasks from requirement understanding to final asset delivery.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality benchmarks and project timelines.
Technical Skills Required
3D Modeling
Strong expertise in any one (or more) of:
Autodesk Maya
Blender
3ds Max
Advanced knowledge of:
High-poly modeling (CGI pipeline)
Low-poly optimization for GLB / Real-Time workflow
Hard-surface modeling
Organic modeling
Solid understanding of topology and mesh optimization.
Texturing
Strong expertise in Substance Pa
