JOB DESCRIPTION ACCOUNTANT
Position: Accountant

About the Role
Rhythm and Emphasis Design Studio is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to
manage day-to-day accounting operations, nancial records, documentation, and reporting. The ideal
candidate should have solid knowledge of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the
ability to maintain accurate and condential nancial records.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records.
Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and other nancial transactions.
¢ Maintain ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.
¢ Reconcile bank accounts and identify discrepancies.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
¢ Monitor incoming and outgoing payments.
¢ Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.




¢ Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain payment schedules.
¢ Verify vendor bills and process payments as per company procedures.
3. Financial Reporting
¢ Prepare periodic nancial statements and management reports.
¢ Maintain monthly income and expense records.
¢ Provide accurate nancial information to management when required.
¢ Assist with budgeting, cash-ow monitoring, and nancial analysis.
4. Taxation & Compliance
¢ Maintain records required for statutory and tax compliance.
¢ Assist with GST, TDS, and other applicable compliance requirements.
¢ Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, or consultants when required.
¢ Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with applicable regulations.

5. Payroll & Employee Records
¢ Assist with monthly salary calculations and payroll-related records.
