Role & responsibilities :
- Head overall mechanical maintenance operations for plant sections such as Crusher, Raw Mill, Kiln, Coal Mill, Cement Mill, Packing Plant, and material handling systems.
- Ensure maximum plant availability and reliability through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies.
- Plan and execute annual maintenance schedules, major shutdowns, and overhauls within approved timelines and budgets.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and control maintenance costs, spares inventory, and vendor contracts to optimize OPEX.
- Drive condition monitoring practices (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, statutory compliances, and plant SOPs.
- Coordinate with Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Production,



and Projects teams for smooth plant operations.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
- Support plant improvement initiatives, debottlenecking, energy efficiency, and reliability enhancement projects.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades, modernization, and CAPEX proposals.
- Liaise with OEMs and external agencies for technical support and long-term maintenance strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation, MIS reporting, and compliance with audits (internal and external).
