Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for APIs and frontend applications.
- Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP/HTTP) using industry-standard tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or JMeter.
- Implement and execute BDD test frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Karate) to support behavior-driven development.
- Work on UI automation using Selenium (Appium knowledge is a plus for mobile automation).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and security testing using best practices and tools.
- Validate backend systems with basic database operations (query execution, data validation).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and CI/CD integration.
- Work on public and private cloud environments as part of the testing strategy.
- Document test cases, execution results, and provide defect reports with root cause analysis
