Operations Manager – Gas Agency (Malappuram District, Kerala)

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, sharp Operations Manager to run the daily operations of a busy LPG gas distribution agency, while also driving the company's diversification into innovative business areas as per company guidelines. This is a high-pressure, customer-facing role requiring solid coordination across customers, office staff, delivery personnel, the parent gas company, and agency management — plus the ability to represent the agency confidently in external and stakeholder meetings.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations — bookings, distribution, delivery, and cylinder accounting
- Supervise office and delivery staff; assign tasks and ensure timely completion
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally
- Liaise with the parent gas company on supply, compliance,



and reporting
- Coordinate with agency management on targets, staffing, and operational issues
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (PESO/company norms)
- Resolve conflicts between staff, delivery personnel, and customers
- Maintain accurate records: bookings, deliveries, attendance, stock
- Identify and help execute diversification into new/innovative business areas, as per company guidelines
- Apply out-of-the-box thinking to solve recurring operational and business challenges
- Represent the agency in stakeholder meetings — with the parent company, vendors, local authorities, and business partners
- Manage high-pressure periods (festivals, supply shortages, peak demand)

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in gas agency operations, distribution, retail, or similar supervisory role preferred
- Working knowledge of English is required, in addition to fluent Malayalam
- Hindi language
