Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment, including refrigeration units, conveyor belts, forklifts, and packaging machines.

Conduct regular inspections and ensure the prompt repair of faulty equipment.

Oversee all corrective maintenance tasks, minimizing operational disruptions and ensuring timely repairs.

Address breakdowns or malfunctions promptly

conducting troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to minimize downtime in operations.

Monitor and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems to ensure proper temperature control for grape preservation

Conduct cost benefit analysis and decide on timely basis which activities can be done inhouse or to be outsourced





Look for opportunities of automation with a view to reduce cost and improvise productivity.

Explore alternate source of energy (like solar) with a view reduce to cost.

Ensure stock of all spares (including critical spares) and consumables are procured by monitoring the reorder level

Approve the requisitions raised by the team.

Ensure records of all maintenance and repair work conducted is kept including record of any supplies ordered and used.

Ensure listing of maintenance gadgets & equipments is maintained by team.

Monitor the upkeep and life of these equipments and replace / buy them on timely basis as per the situation

Monitor & execute third party contracts

Timely renewal of contracts on timely basis

Ensure all compliance w.r.t. safety norms, Kaizen, 5S are followed

Ensure team is wearing proper gear from safety point of view while doing preventive & breakdown maintenance
