Role Summary:The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Portfolio Investments plays a critical role in evaluating, executing, and managing investment opportunities across multiple asset classes. This position supports strategic investment decision-making through rigorous financial analysis, market research, and comprehensive due diligence. The AVP works closely with senior leadership and investment committees, contributes to deal structuring and execution, and helps oversee portfolio performance to drive long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support investment transactions across the full lifecycle, including sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, structuring, and closing.
- Develop, build, and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, assess returns, and analyze risk scenarios.
- Conduct in-depth industry, market, and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations, and clearly communicate findings to senior management and investment committees.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing portfolio investments, identifying risks, opportunities, and value-creation initiatives.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, accounting, and external advisors to support deal structuring, documentation, operations and execution.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with internal stakeholders, investment partners, lenders, and external advisors.
- Support fundraising activities, investor relations, and capital deployment strategies, as needed.
Qualifications:CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualifications
