Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager – Solar Projects to drive sales and business development activities across the MESCOM service area in Karnataka.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the local market, excellent client-handling skills, and proven experience in sales or business development. Experience in the Solar, Renewable Energy, Electrical, EPC or Power sector will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies for solar projects within the assigned MESCOM territory.
- Identify and develop new customers, business opportunities and project leads.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals and local market development.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors,



consultants, builders, industries and other key stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical and project teams to propose suitable solar solutions.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities.
- Follow up on quotations, proposals, negotiations and leads through to order closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, pipeline updates and market intelligence.

Candidate Profile
- Any Graduate.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales/business development experience.
- Experience in Solar Projects, Renewable Energy, Electrical, EPC or Power sector will be preferred.
- Candidates with robust MESCOM territory knowledge and established local market contacts will have an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation
