Role Overview
The Assistant Manager Plant HR will support the plant HR leadership in managing the overall HR function at the manufacturing facility.
The role focuses on industrial relations, statutory compliance, workforce planning, HR operations, employee engagement, and employee welfare management to ensure a productive and compliant work environment.
The position will work closely with the Plant Leadership Team to build a high-performance, compliant, and engaged workforce aligned with manufacturing objectives and production goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
- Maintain healthy industrial relations within the plant environment.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary cases.
- Ensure effective communication between management and employees.
- Implement structured grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Support employee relations initiatives to maintain a positive work culture.
2. Statutory Compliance & Labor Law Management
Ensure full compliance with all applicable labor laws including:
- Factories Act
- Industrial Disputes Act
- Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
- Provident Fund (PF)
- ESIC Regulations
- Bonus Act
- Gratuity Act
- Tamil Nadu State Labour Regulations
Additional responsibilities include:
- Maintaining statutory registers and records.
- Coordinating with government authorities and inspectors.
- Supporting internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Ensuring audit-ready compliance documentation.
